Igor Komarov believes that the modern world is going through a period of profound changes; it has become economically and politically multipolar, it has a range of new threats, called "hybrid". Today, representatives of delegations will discuss the issue of ensuring national security and sustainable socio-economic development of states in the face of growing hybrid threats. The second day of the meeting will continue to examine the topics of international cooperation in the field of emergency humanitarian response and the prospects for its development at the present stage in the interests of maintaining strategic stability. On the third day of the conference, discussions will be held in the format of "round tables". One of them will be devoted to enhancing international cooperation in combating the terrorist ideology and countering the self-radicalization of single terrorists. The topic of the second round table: "The system of international information security as a guarantor of strategic stability and equal partnership in the global information space."
Separate informal meetings in the format of BRICS and "Russia — ASEAN" will be conducted as part of the event. Separate meetings will be held with representatives of the African continent.
