"Little Sister" film by story of Mustai Karim was shown at Tarkovsky Film Festival

In the framework of the 13th International Film Festival named after Andrey Tarkovsky “The Mirror”, a special screening of the film “Little Sister” based on the story by Mustai Karim “The Joy of Our Home” was held in Ples. According to the Mustai Karim Foundation, the film was presented by young leading actors — Martha Timofeyeva and Arslan Krymchurin, as well as the film’s producer Mikhail Kurbatov and the art director Vyacheslav Vidanov.
The Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky sent greetings to the guests and organizers of film screenings. He expressed confidence that the "Little Sister" "will stir hearts of viewers of all generations, give a lot of bright and memorable emotions," and wished the audience a pleasant viewing.
The "Little Sister" film based on the novel “The Joy of Our Home” written by Mustai Karim shortly after the Great Patriotic War, in 1952. The film was shot by the “Motor Film Studio” with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Mustai Karim Foundation. The release is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national poet of Bashkortostan.
