Ishimbay for first time hosted Moscow Easter Festival

The Moscow Easter Festival visited the city of Ishimbay for the first time. On May 1, as part of the festival's chamber program, a concert of soloists from the Academy of Young Opera Singers of the Mariinsky Theater “World Opera Masterpieces. Russian Romances and Songs” took place on the stage of the City Palace of Culture.
The head of the Academy Larisa Gergieva conducted a master class for vocalists of the Ishimbay district.
At the opening of the concert, the spouse of the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Karine Khabirova and the senior priest of the Holy Trinity Church, Mitred Archpriest Sergei Semenov, delivered welcoming speeches. Creative groups, talented children, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and orphans were invited to the charity concert.
The 18th Moscow Easter Festival is held with the support of the Government of Moscow and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. For 17 years the festival has become one of the major events in the cultural life of Russia. This year it takes place in Tikhvin, Pskov, Sestroretsk, Ufa, Moscow, Khimki, Suzdal, Vladimir, Gus-Hrystalny, Ples. For the first time, Ishimbay and Star City appeared on the tour route of the participants of the chamber program.
