Russian Government has allowed Kumertau to increase list of activities

The priority development area of Kumertau and eight more PDAs received an increased list of activities and reduced the admission parameters for residents in terms of the number of jobs and investments. This was reported by the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkiria.
The matter concerns the mono-cities of Glazov (Udmurtia), Dorogobuzh (Smolensk region), Naberezhnye Chelny (Tatarstan), Navoloki (Ivanovo region), Gukovo (Rostov region), Novotroitsk (Orenburg region), Pikalyovo (Leningrad region), Usolye-Sibirskoe (Irkutsk region), Kumertau (Bashkortostan).
It is done to increase the number of investors, explains the Mono-Cities Development Fund. Now there are 180 residents in nine PDAs, about 60 more are expected to emerge. Companies opening production facilities in PDAs are entitled to tax breaks and interest-free loans.
