An exhibition of the paintings from the Shulgan-Tash Cave and the Yangan-Tau Geopark will be held in France. The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for June 1 at the Prehistory Study Center (community of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil, Dordogne department, France).
The exhibition will then be presented at the National Museum and Research Center of Altamira (Santillana del Mar in Cantabria, Spain) until September 2019.
The official invitation came from Germinal Perot, President of the Council of the Dordogne Department of France and President of the Prehistory Study Center. The invitation is connected with the successful implementation of the exhibition presentation on November 18-20, 2018 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris.
"The exhibition will be a beginning of our fruitful cooperation that will help the general public to get acquainted with the Shulgan-Tash Cave and support our actions to protect and add the cave to the UNESCO list", the spokesman for the Scientific and Production Center for the Cultural Heritage Protection RB reports.
