Bashkiria plans to open import-substituting productions

It is planned to open import-substituting productions in Bashkiria. The projects were discussed at the Government's “Investment Hour”. The “Slavros” company is going to open in Blagoveshchensk an innovative production of geotextiles. As the head of the company, Alexander Fadeev noted, Russia is now buying these products abroad. Investments in new production will amount to about 750 million rubles, 150 new jobs will appear as a result of its launch.
Another investment project in the field of import substitution is being implemented in the village of Bolshoi Kuganak, Sterlitamak district. It is a plant for the production of multi-layer aseptic packaging. In May and June, the installation of the equipment will begin there. The total investment will amount to 1.8 billion rubles, 110 jobs will be created.
“We will be the first in Russia to start the production of packages for dairy and liquid food products,” said Sergey Titov, the project initiator of “Stereks Pak” LLC. “Our products will take up to 12 percent of the Russian food packaging market supplied today from abroad. Kazakhstan and Central Asia have already shown interest in our production”.
The investment committee decided to include the project in the priority list and consider the provision of state support measures, the press service of the head of Bashkiria said.
