Bashkiria Road Fund volume will exceed historical maximum in 2019

UFA, 16 April 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Nikolaev/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.

As reported by Timur Mukhametyanov, the Chairman of the State Committee RB at the State Assembly Committee — Kurultay RB, the Road Fund volume will amount to 21 billion 95 million rubles in Bashkiria in 2019. This sum will be a historical record. The republic ranks second in the country by the total length of roads — 47.5 thousand kilometers, it takes the second place in the Volga region by the volume of the road fund, second only to Tatarstan.

This year almost 60% of the road fund amount (12 billion 929 million rubles) is allocated for the repair of regional and inter-municipal roads, about 40% — 8.5 billion for local roads. In terms of the structure of the planned works, most of the funds will be used for road repairs and overhaul — 9.3 billion rubles (42%), 7.5 billion rubles (35%) is allocated for construction and reconstruction, 4.5 billion rubles or 21% of the road fund is provided for the maintenance of highways. Traffic organization projects will be developed for all roads in the republic.

2 billion 330 million rubles were attracted under the federal priority project “Safe and High-Quality Roads”, including 1 billion to Ufa, 512 million to Sterlitamak. Half a billion rubles were additionally allocated to the reconstruction of the bridge in the alignment of Vorovsky Street in Ufa and a little more than 200 million for the construction of access roads to rural settlements.

According to Timur Mukhametyanov, last year the execution of the road fund in Bashkiria was 93%. 1 billion rubles, reserved for the Eastern Exit project was not spent due to the lack of a decision by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
