Scientific centers may appear in Bashkiria as part of “Science” national project in 2020

Scientific centers of digital technology in the extraction and development of hydrocarbons, high-tech personalized medicine and the creation of hybrid engines may appear in Bashkortostan in 2020 as part of the "Science" national project. The region is applying for participation in the competition. It was reported to TASS by the president of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic Alfis Gayazov.
According to the speaker, Bashkortostan plans to receive 2.5 billion rubles from the federal budget and extrabudgetary sources for the implementation of the national project.
The data sheet of the "Science" national project suggests that in the next five years the share of publications of the Russian scientific works in leading scientific databases will increase, and the number of young researchers will increase. Besides, the Russian state should enter the Top-5 in priority areas of science, and spending from the extrabudgetary sector will grow from 33 to 50%.
