Meeting of Human Rights Council under President of Russian Federation with social activists takes place in Ufa

A meeting of members of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights with representatives of human rights and public organizations, as well as members of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan, is held in Ufa at the “Toratau” Congress Hall on March 25. The event is attended by Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Council Mikhail Fedotov, Commissioner for Human Rights in RB Rim Kayumov, Chairman of the Public Chamber RB Olga Panchikhina, Commissioner for Children's Rights in RB Milana Skorobogatova, as well as representatives of republican organizations.

At the meeting, participants will discuss topical issues of respecting the rights and freedoms of citizens in Bashkortostan, including minors, the disabled, entrepreneurs.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, in Bashkortostan from March 25 to March 28, the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights will hold the 29th exit session. Human rights activists in order to verify the observance of the rights of citizens will meet with representatives of human rights and other public organizations, law enforcement agencies of the republic, conduct public control checks in penitentiary institutions, visit social and medical institutions, institutions of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. Much attention will be paid to environmental issues.

In conclusion, the members of the Council will hold several thematic round tables and meetings.
