In the capital of Bashkiria, it is planned to create an analogue of Kazan IT-park. This was stated by the Interim Chairman of the State Committee for IT Development of Bashkiria Gennady Razumikin during the online conference "IT-Development to the Benefit of the State and Society".
“At present, the “Digital Economy” national program is being implemented in Russia, which consists of several projects, including infrastructure, information security, personnel training for the industry. Under these conditions, the demand for IT specialists will only grow. In Ufa, the question of creating a republican Technopolis, an analogue of Kazan IT-park, is currently being actively developed”, said Gennady Razumikin.
About 1 million IT specialists work in Russia — about 1.5% of the working population of the country (71 million people with a total population of 144.5 million). According to some reports, in the UK, which is not a recognized exporter of information technology, the number of IT professionals is 6% of the working population (21.2 million people, with a total population of 66 million).
Now 47,000 people are enrolled in state-financed programs in the IT specialty. According to experts, in 2024, this figure should grow to 120 thousand people.
