Aviation gasoline, which began to be produced in Sterlitamak, will contribute to the development of unmanned vehicles nationwide. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of Russia Alexei Karpukhin during his visit to “Sintez-Kauchuk” and the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant (managed by «MC TAU Neftekhim» LLC).
The visit took place in the framework of the study of innovative programs of large enterprises of the Bashkiria petrochemical complex. The Minister visited the workshops for the production of aviation fuel and the release of isoprene rubber, as well as the test center of the company. “It is especially important that it appeared at a time when Russia is on the verge of great prospects for the development of unmanned vehicles operating on this type of fuel. The level of production organization in Bashkortostan and the ability to supply aviation gasoline to any point in Russia allows us to state that the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant will make a great contribution to the development of Russian unmanned vehicles, including small helicopter systems. ”
After inspecting workshops and laboratories, the minister held a meeting with the top managers of enterprises: the MC TAU Neftekhim CEO, Marat Gaifullin, production director Oleg Shurupov, SNHZ JSC CEO, Alexey Danilov, Sintez-Kauchuk JSC CEO Dmitry Zhavoronkov.
