The Ministry of Health of Bashkiria plans to purchase 27 mobile medical complexes this year, it was reported at a briefing session in the Ministry. In 2018, 13 complexes were purchased. The mobile medical complexes will serve the people of remote areas.
Vladimir Putin set the task of providing the entire population of the country with high-quality medical care in the March election Address to the Federal Assembly. “In the settlements with a population of 100 to 2,000, during the period 2018-2020, first-aid and obstetric centers and medical clinics should be established. Moreover, for the settlements where less than 100 people live, mobile medical complexes, high-traffic vehicles, with all the necessary diagnostic equipment should be organized,” stated the President.
At the moment there are 2064 first-aid and obstetric stations in Bashkortostan — two times more than the nationwide figures. One hundred twenty-five stations are not functioning due to the lack of specialists. Only paramedics work at 152 stations, 72 stations are in emergency condition, 80% of stations are located in rented premises.
The cost of one mobile station, according to the open data of the public procurement portal, is about 8.5 million rubles.
