In 2018, almost 2 billion rubles were allocated for state support of animal husbandry in Bashkortostan. This is comparable to the amount of state support for all five years of the “500 Farms” program implementation. The Interim Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov spoke about it at a regional seminar on livestock breeding in Aurgazy district, which was held at the largest agricultural enterprise in the republic — "Urozhai".
The largest dairy farm construction project for 4,800 heads of dairy herd has been launched there. The investment project is included in the priority list. According to Radik Rafikov, the CEO of the "Urozhai" company, the total investment will amount to 4.2 billion rubles; about 100 new jobs will be created. Milk production at the enterprise will make 59 thousand tons for a year. According to Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, part of the costs for the purchase of breeding livestock and equipment will be reimbursed from the federal budget within the existing support programs.
In early December, the "Urozhai" company’s project was reviewed at «Investment Hour» session, when Radiy Khabirov requested a detailed report on the company’s activities. The further consideration of the project is scheduled for March 2019.
