Eight Deputy Prime Ministers of Bashkiria Government resigned

The leadership of the Bashkiria Government headed by Prime Minister Rustem Mardanov submitted a request to resign to the Acting Head of the region. Radiy Khabirov informed about this at a briefing session.

“I asked Rustem Mardanov to continue his work as Prime Minister. I accepted the resignation of eight deputy prime ministers”, said Radiy Khabirov.

Three vice-premiers will continue to work with the prefix "acting". These are Ilshat Tazhitdinov (head of the Government Executive Office), Ilshat Faizrakhmanov (in charge of agriculture) and Farhad Samadov (Plenipotentiary Envoy of the republic to Moscow)

New faces appeared in the republic.

Raif Abdrakhimov for many years headed the Investment and Construction Committee in Ufa and recently worked in the team of Radiy Khabirov as the deputy head of the Krasnogorsk administration for architecture and construction became the new Vice-Premier in charge of the construction sphere in the Bashkiria Government.

Lenara Ivanova who previously worked as Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection RB, became Vice-Premier in charge of the social sphere in the Government of Bashkortostan. Her duties as a minister were assigned to the first deputy head of the department Yury Melnikov.

A native of Bashkiria, Lieutenant-General of Police Artur Akhmetkhanov became Vice-Premier, who coordinates work with the law enforcement agencies, deals with security issues, offenses prevention, and mobilization preparation. From 2016, he served as deputy commander of the Volga District of the National Guard for the private security organization and licensing and permitting work.

Deputy Prime Minister Yevgeny Guryev, who headed the Ministry of Land and Property Management — from November 2016, was also dismissed. His post without a status of the Deputy Prime Minister was taken by Oleg Polstovalov.

It was also announced the resignation of Marat Magadeev, who had been in office since October 2012, and Fanzil Chingizov, who became Deputy Prime Minister a month ago, in September.

Recall that Anvar Bakirov, who headed the Ministry of Health since 2014, was the first to retire after the appointment of Radiy Khabirov, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan. Rafael Yapparov temporarily performs the duties of the head of the department. Also last week, Rinat Shagalin was dismissed from the post of chief of administration of the head of the region, and Gyzel Nasyrova was appointed as the acting chief.
