In Bashkiria, a rapeseed oil was first produced at Chishminsky Oil Extraction Plant. It was sent to Europe for manufacturing biodiesel fuel at the plants.
Processing of the new crop was conducted from September 17 to October 3. More than 9,700 tons of seeds were processed, about 4,000 tons of rapeseed oil and 5,380 tons of oilseed meal were produced, the “Rodnik-plus” newspaper in the city of Chishmy reports.
“The Sigma company, which includes the Chishminsky Oil Extraction Plant, has concluded contracts for the sale of products to Europe. The oilseed meal is also being shipped to Russian regions”, said Aidar Yakupov, general director of Chishminsky plant.
Before signing the contract, the rapeseed fields of agrarians and the conditions for processing rapeseed at the plant were audited and certified. The audit was conducted by an expert of the French inspection and certification company Bureau Veritas.
The plant started processing the seeds of the new sunflower crop since October 4. Currently, more than 8.7 million tons have been processed. The quality of incoming oilseeds from the fields is good, experts say.
When the necessary amount of rapeseed is accumulated at the plant, the second wave of rapeseed processing from the Russian regions, in particular, from the Omsk Region, is expected at the plant, the enterprise informs.
