Bashkiria stand was presented at International Beekeeping Congress in Turkey

The 6th International Congress on Beekeeping and Pine Honey was opened in the province of Mugla, Turkey.
The opening ceremony was attended by about two and a half thousand people from 23 countries, including Russia, Germany, Great Britain, the USA, France, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Spain, Kenya, Iran. Russia was represented by the Bashkir Research Center for Beekeeping and Apitherapy, the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations RB reported.
An exhibition of bee products was organized at the congress, at which, along with expositions from other countries, a Russian stand was presented. It acquaints participants and guests of the Congress with Bashkortostan. The exhibition presents experimental products developed by specialists of the Bashkir Research Center for Beekeeping and Apitherapy.
The work of the Congress will continue until October 19. The program includes roundtables, scientific and practical conferences, and working sessions. At the meeting of the international section, the Director General of the Bashkir Beekeeping Research Center, Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences Amir Ishemgulov plans to deliver a speech.
Bashkortostan will host the International Beekeeping Congress "Apimondia" in 2021. By this time, the republic plans to create the entire necessary infrastructure: honey museums, honey villages, apiaries. Preparation for “Apimondia-2021” implies the improvement of beekeeping facilities and adjacent territories, including the establishment of roadside service, roads, and demonstration sites. In particular, the Mrakovo-Starosubkhangulovo road will be overhauled and access roads to the Shulgan-Tash cave will be equipped.
