AVG Capital Partners direct investment fund is preparing to construct a large livestock complex for 7 thousand heads of cattle in the Kushnarenkovo district of Bashkiria using Israeli technologies. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov told Interfax about this on the sidelines of the International exhibition "Golden Autumn". The preliminary cost of the project is estimated at 7 billion rubles.
It is planned to implement the project within five years in two stages: the first is a construction of a complex, the second is a creation of a milk-processing production. The investor plans to receive a governmental support, the Deputy Prime Minister said. The republic has approved a strategy for the development of the dairy industry until 2030, which guarantees assistance to milk producers.
The implementation of the project is entrusted to the “Bashkir-Moloko” company, recently opened for this purpose, Interfax reports. 95% in the company’s stake belongs to LLC Bashkir-Agroinvest, 5% — to Chishminsky sugar factory. Both of these businesses are managed by AVG Capital Partners. Also, the portfolio of the investment fund includes two more large companies operating in the republic — Rayevsky Meat Processing Plant "Alshey-Myaso" and "Bashkir Meat Company" (GK "Tavros").
