3rd Eurasian Humanitarian Forum under UNESCO auspices was held in Ufa

On September 22, the 3rd Eurasian International Humanitarian Forum on Culture and Folk Art took place under the auspices of the Russian Commission for UNESCO in Ufa. The forum was held within the framework of the activities of the 48th World Congress and the General Assembly of the CIOFF (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts).
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Salavat Sagitov, the Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Executive Secretary of the Russian Commission for UNESCO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Ordzhonikidze, the leaders and representatives of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the CIS countries and other foreign countries, scientists, experts in the field of culture and folk art, as well as a large delegation of CIOFF representatives from more than 50 countries, led by President Philippe Bossan — more than 200 people took part in the forum.
The forum featured a presentation of an innovative, cultural and humanitarian project on cooperation in the large Eurasian space — "Maps of cultures of the peoples of Eurasia", the exchange of experience of the institutions of culture and national creativity of Russia and the world.
As a result of the forum, as in 2016-2017, the resolution of the Eurasian Humanitarian Forum — the Ufa International Declaration was adopted.
