Government proposed to raise minimum wage since January 1, 2019

The Russian Government has proposed raising the minimum wage since January 1, 2019, to 11,280 rubles, Izvestia reports.
The minimum wage is a minimum salary of Russians before deduction of personal income tax. Social payments are calculated basing on it.
Since May 1 of this year, the living wage of the able-bodied person has been equated with the minimum wage. Currently, it is 11,163 rubles. Taking into account the Ural coefficient, the minimum wage is 12,837.45 rubles in Bashkiria.
