The first meeting of the State Assembly — Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the sixth convocation will be held in Ufa on September 28. The corresponding decree was signed by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov.

The document was published on the Official legal information website of Bashkortostan on September 18.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, the election of deputies of the State Assembly — Kurultay RB and representative bodies of local self-government took place on September 9.

Twenty-two election campaigns took place on the Single Voting Day on September 9. 147 deputy seats were replaced.

Representatives of six parties received seats of the deputies of the State Assembly — Kurultay. United Russia received 79 seats, CPRF-15, LDPR-7, Fair Russia-5, Patriots of Russia-2 mandates, Russian Green Party-1 mandate. One self-nominee for the Industrial District Airat Karimov was elected to the regional parliament.

"In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic, the Law "On the State Assembly — the Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan" the first session of the new parliament is convened on the 30th day after the election, however, the Head of the Republic took advantage of his right to convene it earlier", the Speaker of the Parliament Konstantin Tolkachev commented on. "Mainly organizational issues will be considered at the first session. It is necessary to elect the Chairman of the Parliament, his Deputies, to determine the number, names, areas of supervision, the composition of the standing committees".
