Experts from 60 countries will arrive in Ufa to prepare for Folklore Festival

Ufa will host the 3rd Eurasian International Humanitarian Forum on Culture and Folk Art.
The Forum will be held under the auspices of UNESCO as part of the activities of the 48th World Congress and the General Assembly of CIOFF (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts) on September 21-23.
The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Executive Secretary of the Russian Commission for UNESCO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Ordzhonikidze, the UNESCO Deputy Director General for Culture Ernesto Renato Otto Ramirez, the leaders and representatives of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the CIS countries and other foreign countries, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the regions of Russia, scientists and experts in the field of culture and folk art are invited at the Forum.
As the press service of the Bashkortostan Committee for UNESCO Affairs informs, more than 200 people will take part in the forum. A large delegation of CIOFF representatives from 60 foreign countries led by its President Philip Bossan will arrive here.
The program will include a presentation of an innovative cultural and humanitarian project on cooperation in the large Eurasian space — "Maps of Cultures of the Eurasian Peoples", an exchange of experience of culture and folk creativity institutions of Russia and the world.
As a result of the forum, as in 2016-2017, a resolution of the 3rd Eurasian Humanitarian Forum — the Ufa International Declaration will be adopted.
