Biotechnology laboratory was established at university in Bashkortostan

An innovative biotechnology laboratory was established at Bashkir State Agrarian University within the framework of the university's cooperation with the scientific and innovative enterprise BashInk. It’s equipment worth more than 1.5 million rubles.
Within the walls of the laboratory, future specialists of the agro-industrial complex of the republic will be able to master the classical agricultural biotechnology, microbiology, phytopathology and plant protection. Students will acquire the skills of working with microscopes with the images displaying on the screen, cameras and a robot for phenological observations.
The modern laboratory will allow students to learn the results of research conducted both in the regions of Russia and in the near abroad, to receive recommendations for the conservation and enhancement of useful soil microflora.
"A pilot project" for a new scientific workshop was a laboratory work on the determination of microorganisms in soils, performed by the 2nd year students of the Agrotechnology and Forestry Faculty, the press center of the university reported.
