Children Inclusion Day will be held in Ufa

On September 5, an Inclusion Day — an interactive holiday for children with disabilities and healthy children will be held in the shopping mall at Rubezhnaya Street, 174 in Ufa. The main goal of the event is to change a stereotypic attitude towards people with disabilities and to provide equal opportunities for different children to learn, communicate and play.
The Commissioner for the Children Rights Milana Skorobogatova, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan Gulnaz Shafikova, the eight-fold Paralympic swimming champion Oksana Savchenko, the representatives of the republican ministries, the deputies of the State Assembly — Kurultay, the chairman of the Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan Evgeny Emelyanov and others will be the honorary guests of the event.
Young visitors of the holiday will be able to take part in creative master classes, where they will learn how to sculpt clay products, apply face painting, communicate in sign language and read Braille. The guests will see inclusive dance performances, a puppet show, theater performances, as well as sign songs. All participants will receive memorable prizes and souvenirs. At the information desk, those interested will be able to learn more about the inclusion and etiquette of communication with people with disabilities.
