Public press center operate inn Ufa on Election Day of deputies to Bashkortostan State Assembly

On September 9, 2018, on the day of deputies’ elections to State Assembly — the Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a public press center "Elections-2018" will work in Ufa at the Bashkiria hotel. It will open at 08.00, simultaneously with polling stations for voting, and will run until 06.00 on September 10.
The press center is being set up so that representatives of the media can receive information on the voting process and receive promptly expert comments on it.
A series of briefings with the participation of representatives of political parties, political scientists, experts and representatives of state authorities are planned during the whole period of the media center's work. They will inform about the provision of access to voting for various categories of citizens: people with restricted mobility, disabled people, residents of hard-to-reach settlements, passengers at the airport and railway stations, patients of hospitals, vacationers in sanatoria.
Data on the turnout and the course of voting in the republic will be announced in a live broadcast mode from the Central Election Commission. A roundtable will be held with the participation of journalists and experts. Every hour political analysts will comment on the voting process, consider incoming complaints, attendance and other elements of the electoral process.
From today to September 8 (until 6 pm), the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan accredits representatives of the media to work in the press center.
On September 3, a call center will be launched to monitor elections in the region. Calls will be accepted by phone number 8-800-347-2-102. The employees of the call center will give consultations and provide legal support every day until 18.00. From September 9 to 10, it will be transferred to multi-channel mode, calls will be received around the clock.
