Number of people engaged in adaptive physical training and sports is growing in Bashkortostan

On August 10, a meeting with participants of the cycling marathon of visually impaired cyclists "Astana-Paris" was held in the conference hall of the Bashinform News Agency.
On August 4, 2018 within the framework of the program by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Looking to the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness", the "Blind Race Astana — Paris" cycling marathon was launched with the participation of visually impaired and blind cyclists. The cycling marathon will be held under the slogan "The World of Unlimited Opportunities!". The inclusive team on specialized bicycle tandems will travel about 5000 km, uniting 30 cities from six countries (Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, France).
The Deputy Minister of Youth Politics and Sport of Bashkortostan Pavel Muslimov told about the adaptive sports development in our republic.
"The Ministry carries out the organization of physical culture and health and sports activities among people with disabilities, expanding the scope of proper recreation, promoting their rehabilitation and health. In recent years, the proportion of people systematically engaged in adaptive physical culture and sports in the Republic of Bashkortostan has been steadily increasing", Pavel Muslimov said.
"Public sports organizations, together with the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sport of Bashkortostan, hold sports events, festivals, championships and contests for people with various health restrictions."
