Grain market state to be discussed in Kumertau

On July 11, the "Grain Conference" will take place in Kumertau, in which the head of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevsky and his colleagues, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the National Commodity Exchange, FGBU "Grain Quality Assessment Center", JSC "Russian Railways", traders, leading agricultural enterprises and elevator enterprises of the republic and neighboring regions will take part. Experts will consider the situation in the grain market, forecasts for harvest and prices, mechanisms for entering international markets, new technologies for processing and storing grain, as well as logistics and exchange trade. Participants will visit the most state-of-the-art elevator in Bashkiria — as part of a new oil extracting plant in the Mayachny village.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of RB, there are 33 operating elevators and grain receiving points in the republic capable of storing 2 million tons, with a total drying capacity of 2.7 thousand tons per hour. The total capacity of a one-time storage of grain at the enterprises of Bashkiria is more than 4 million tons.
As the ministry informs, for the first four months of 2018 the republic exported grain for about $ 15 million, which was 49% in the structure of agricultural exports. The main export crops are wheat, barley, buckwheat, and oilseeds. The Bashkir grain is supplied to Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Belgium, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
