New fares for international passport issuance are announced

The Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on increasing the state duty for issuing an international passport from 3.5 thousand to 5 thousand rubles. The law is published on a single portal of legal information. It comes into force in a month.
The law raises the state duty for issuing an international passport for citizens under 14 years from 1.5 thousand to 2.5 thousand rubles. Duties are increased only for new generation passports containing an electronic data carrier.
The state duty for issuing a new national driving license, including replacement of lost or worn out, will amount to 3 thousand rubles.
