Bashkortostan jumper Danil Lysenko took silver at World Challenge stage in Czech Republic

A native of Bashkortostan, Danil Lysenko, high jumper, took a silver medal at the stage of the World Challenge in Czech Ostrava. The athlete showed the result of 2.36 meters, RIA Novosti reports.
The winner of the tournament was a representative of Qatar Mutaz Essa Barshim (2.38 meters), the first three was closed by the Syrian Majid Eddin Ghazal with a result of 2.25 meters.
This is not the first confrontation between Danila Lysenko and an athlete from Qatar. The athlete from Bashkiria beat him by taking a bar at 2.36 m from the third attempt at the World Athletics Championships in March. Mutaz Essa Barshim was the second with a score of 2.33.
In May this year, the Qatar athlete was better than Lysenko, having won the first place in the third stage of the Diamond League in the United States. The Russian athlete took the second place with 2.32 meters result.
