International ultramarathon gathered more than 180 participants in Bashkortostan

From June 9 to 12, an international multi-day ultramarathon TransUral was held in the territory of the South Urals, in the Beloretsk and Abzelilovo districts of Bashkortostan. The press service of the State Committee RB for Emergency Situations reported that the participants covered a distance laid along the most interesting mountain routes for four days.
"More than 180 participants of the Southern stage of the multi-day tour ran about 140 km along the tops of the Krykty Tau ridge, Yamantau (719 m), the Ural-Tau ridge, Kurkak (1008.8 m) and the Krak mountain range, Arvyakryaz (1068 m)", the department informs.
Safety of the participants and guests of the event was provided by the rescuers of the city of Beloretsk, the Emergency and Rescue Service of the State Committee RB for Emergency Situations. For four days the rescuers were on duty and toured the most difficult sections of the route on quad bikes.
TransUral 2.0 – is a beginning of a new four-year series, a fresh start of the Russian largest multi-day mountain ultramarathon. The participants will conquer the Southern, Middle, Northern and Subpolar Urals for four years.
