More than one million questions were sent to "direct line" with Vladimir Putin

The number of calls and messages received by the "direct line" with Russian President Vladimir Putin exceeded 1 million, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the organizers of the event.
The annual special program "Direct Line with President of Russia Vladimir Putin" will begin at noon Moscow time on June 7. The head of state, in the course of communication with the Russians, will answer pressing questions.
As of Monday 18.00, 583 858 calls, 240 002 SMS, and 22 692 MMS have already arrived.
Besides, 5472 messages have arrived in a video format through an application, 4596 questions have been sent through video dialogues. 97,800 questions were asked to the president on a special website.
As the organizers noted, 26 309 messages were received in text form via social networks, 757 in a video format. There were 25,061 text questions sent via the application.
