On June 9, in Ufa, a National Costume Festival will be held within the framework of the International Festival of Arts "Heart of Eurasia-2018". Organizers hope to break a record of the last year in terms of the number of nationalities and participants.
As in previous years, the most colorful fragment of the day will be a march-parade of national costumes. As the director of the House of Friendship of Peoples Azat Ibragimov said, the participants of the celebration will show costumes of more than 40 peoples living in Bashkortostan: the Bashkirs, Russians, Tatars, Chuvashs, Poles, Ukrainians and other ethnic groups. The parade will be joined by foreigners — students from China, India, Vietnam, and Nigeria.
In addition to colorful costumes, the organizers of the event are preparing numerous exhibitions of folk arts and crafts, national decorations, and stylized clothes. The holiday of the national costume will end with a Friendship Round Dance, opening the next project — "UFA — Kuraifest".
This year, the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the direction of Linar Davletbaev will perform for the audience at UFA — Kuraifest.
ZAMAN group from Moscow, working in the World Music genre, will also please the guests of the festival this evening.
And the youngest participant of the concert will be a girl-orchestra Lyaysan Zolotareva, the finalist of the All-Russian Young Talents Contest "Blue Bird".
