In Bashkiria, activists of the All-Russian People’s Front cleaning-up project organized an environmental campaign in the territory of the complex nature monument — the rocks of Kalim-Oskan and the Kuk-Karauk waterfall. More than 70 people took part in the volunteer clean-up: representatives of the Salavat club of speleologists, tourist communities, environmental movements, residents of Salavat and Ishimbay district, the All-Russian People’s Front regional headquarters reported.
The reserve zone suffers enormous recreational loads due to the influx of a large number of tourists and tourists.
As part of the environmental campaign in the Ishimbay district, the People's Front activists organized a sports clean-up for combining garbage collection and jogging.
During the volunteer clean-up, 85 garbage bags were collected by common efforts. All of them were taken to the nearest landfill site on the transport provided by the administration of the Makarovo Village Council. Following the results of the clean-up, the activists will send an appeal to the administration of Ishimbay district with a request to fill up two large pits at the foot of the rock, which tourists turn into places of waste storage and plant trees there. In the near future, the People's Front members plan to conduct similar environmental campaigns in the territory of the natural parks of Bashkiria.
