Russian Consulate General will assist Bashkiria in establishing ties with Germany federal lands

The largest international specialized exhibition IMEX-2018 has come to an end in the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center in Frankfurt am Main. For the first time, Russia was represented at the IMEX-2018 with the national stand RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD. Bashkortostan acted as a co-exhibitor of the Russian exposition. The delegation was headed by the head of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Foreign Economic Activity Ruslan Mirsayapov.
The national exposition of RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD aroused great interest among industry professionals, buyers, organizers of international events and representatives of the industry media.
During a presentation of Bashkortostan for IMEX-2018 participants, it was noted that the region will host the World Folklore in 2020, as well as the World Apimondia Congress of Beekeepers and the ApiExpo exhibition in 2021. Annually Bashkiria becomes an organizer of the Russian oil and gas and chemical forum with the international exhibition "Gas.Neft.Technologies-2018", a number of the most important events in agriculture and medicine.
The RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD national exposition was visited by more than 1000 professionals of the event industry. Delegates from Azerbaijan, Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Georgia, India, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, USA, Czech Republic and other countries became its visitors.
The exhibition was visited by the Consul General of Russia in Frankfurt am Main Alexander Bulai and the delegation of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Germany. Also, a personal meeting took place between the Chairman of the State Committee RB on Foreign Economic Activity Ruslan Mirsayapov and Alexander Bulai. The parties discussed the cooperation of Bashkiria and Germany in economic and humanitarian fields, as well as an interaction between Russian regions and the federal lands of Germany. The Consul General declared his readiness to support the implementation of investment projects in Germany, the press service of the Congress Bureau RB informed.
"More than 70 negotiations and meetings with representatives of leading MICE-agencies, corporate customers of Russia, CIS countries, Europe, Asia, and America were held by the delegation of Bashkortostan," said Nikolai Fadeev, the director of the Bashkortostan Congress Bureau.
A draw of prizes was held for the guests of the stand, in which 300 visitors of the national exposition took part.
