663 people take part in Bashkortostan primaries. Registration is completed

663 people will take part in the primaries in Bashkiria. United Russia completed the registration of participants in the preliminary voting to determine their candidates for the legislative assembly.
"Among the nominees more than one third (243 people) are young people under the age of 35, party members — 60.5% (401 people), supporters — 16.7% (111 people), non-party — 22.8% (151 people )", the Secretary of the regional department of "United Russia" Konstantin Tolkachev said at a meeting with journalists.
In Bashkortostan, according to the speaker of the regional parliament, men have been actively involved in the selection of candidates. There were 495 men among participants in the primaries, and only 168 women. The preliminary selection of 179 active deputies of all levels was announced. Of these, 56 are deputies of the State Assembly of the Republic, 123 of the local self-government.
The first important stage of preliminary voting in the republic has been completed. Ballot papers making and preparation of counting stations are ahead. 662 of them were established in the territory of the republic. The process of forming counting commissions is coming to an end, there will be 3,310 of them.
In September 2018 elections will be held to the State Assembly — the Kurultai of Bashkortostan. Residents of the republic will elect 110 deputies. At the same time, half of them are elected in single-mandate constituencies, the remaining 55 — in single electoral districts.
