The "Burzyan" cluster should be included in the federal target program for the development of domestic inbound tourism.

Addressing to the head of the department, Liliya Gumerova noted the great significance of implementing the federal target program for the domestic incoming tourism development.
"The Federation Council as the Chamber of Regions is interested in the regions developing domestic tourism, at the expense of which their budgets would be replenished. To date, the regions of Russia have submitted projects for a total of about 470 billion rubles to participate in the federal program "Domestic and incoming tourism development in the Russian Federation", which is planned to be implemented in 2019-2025, while the federal target program allocates 387 billion rubles for these goals, which is almost by 82 billion rubles less than requested by the regions. And many constituent entities of the Russian Federation say that it is necessary to find opportunities to increase funding for the federal target program", the Senator said.
As an example, Liliya Gumerova mentioned a unique project – the "Burzyan" Tourist-Recreational Cluster", in which territory there are about 300 karst caves, including the famous "Shulgan-Tash Cave".
The Senator stressed that as a result of the "Burzyan" cluster development it was planned to increase the revenues of the Russian budget system by about 153 million rubles.
"And this is not just the implementation of an investment project, it is a real contribution to the preservation of the Russian cultural heritage, as an integral part of Russia's cultural code", Liliya Gumerova said.
The Head of Rosturizm Oleg Safonov marked that he was familiar with the project and noted its attractiveness and promising outlook.
