Foods most risen in price in Bashkortostan - statistics

Vegetables showed the greatest increase in price for a week in Bashkiria. Prices for carrots, fresh cabbage and potatoes went up by 2.5 — 6.3 percent compared to April 2, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports based on the weekly monitoring data.
The list of products that have become more expensive also includes pork, lamb, apples, eggs, sugar, bread and wheat flour bakery products, tea, as well as whole pasteurized milk and beef. They began to cost by 0.2 — 1.6 percent more for residents of our republic.
The prices for millet, rye flour bread and rye and wheat flour bread remained unchanged during this time in Bashkiria.
And, cheese, chicken, salt, onion, buckwheat, sunflower oil, vermicelli, ground rice and butter, on the contrary, showed a slight decrease in prices – by 0.01-1 percent.
The top three most cheapened products in the region included wheat flour — minus 2.6 percent for a week. Sterilized milk and frozen fish became more affordable for buyers by 1.6 percent, statisticians summarized.
