Candidates for Russian presidency represent whole range of voters' preferences: Bashkortostan State Assembly Chairman

The Chairman of the State Assembly — Kurultay RB Konstantin Tolkachev casted his vote in the presidential elections in Russia at a polling station in the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall.
The Head of Parliament spoke with the UN observers present at the polling station and answered journalists' questions.
As Konstantin Tolkachev noted, the region traditionally had a high activity of voters, as well as a large number of polling stations. Total, there are 3 436 such stations in the territory of Bashkortostan.
"The pre-election activity was successfully carried out. Eight candidates held vigorous electoral campaigns, debates. They represent a whole range of voters' preferences, and every citizen can choose the direction of domestic and foreign policy that he considers necessary. I am sure that the elections will be held on the grounds of law, and no one will have an opportunity to cast discredit on their results", he said.
