400 courtyard spaces and 40 public areas were accomplished in Bashkortostan as part of comfortable urban environment program

Within the framework of the "Creating Comfortable Urban Environment" program, more than 400 courtyard spaces and about 40 public areas have been landscaped in the republic. This was reported by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov at a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Public Service Workers of the Population and Housing and Communal Services, which took place in Dyurtyuli.
“Bashkortostan is also one of the leading regions in implementing the program "Creating Comfortable Urban Environment", said Rustem Khamitov. “Last year, the republic received over 850 million rubles from the federal budget for these purposes. Together with the republican funds, the total amount exceeded 1 billion rubles.
As a result, programs have been implemented to update urban parks and squares, alleys, embankments, pedestrian areas.
“More than 400 courtyards and about 40 public territories selected by the residents of the municipalities themselves were landscaped,” the Head of the Republic noted.
The Head of the Region stressed that the tasks of landscaping would be solved including within the framework of a large-scale federal program of spatial development of Russia.
"Bashkortostan as one of the driving, successful and active regions of the country should become one of the leaders in this important activity", said Rustem Khamitov.
