This week, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture RB and participation of the Moscow Stock Exchange, 1,200 tons of grain were sold at the Buzdyak elevator, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture informs.
For the first time the agricultural producer of the republic sold the goods to the largest processing company and exporter using the exchange infrastructure. Due to this, it was possible to sell grain at the most attractive price, without intermediaries.
This transaction is a result of an agreement signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan and JSC "National Commodity Exchange". Because of this, the republic was one of the first to launch a pilot project on organizing exchange trades for agricultural commodity producers.
The agrarians of the region have an additional opportunity to expand their sales markets, through accredited elevators, both in Russia and abroad. For these purposes, four grain elevators have been accredited at the website of JSC "National Commodity Exchange": "Meleuzovsky Elevator" LLC, "Davlekanovskiy KHP No. 1" LLC, "ConsultSitiGroup" LLC, "Buzdyak Elevator" LLC.
Experts believe that the tools of the stock market will allow Bashkortostan in to increase income and reduce risks.
