Bashkortostan agrarians adopt German experience in organic farming

The Bashkortostan delegation led by the vice-premier of the republican government Ilshat Fazrakhmanov is paying an official visit to Germany.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in the international exhibition of organic food products BIOFACH, as well as to develop cooperation in organic farming and production of environmentally friendly products. The event was organized within the framework of the "German-Russian Agrarian and Political Dialogue" cooperation project.
Yesterday the agrarians of our republic visited the "Eichethof", enterprise practicing organic farming and since 1992 being a member of the Naturland organic union. Members of the delegation will also visit other leading agricultural enterprises, educational institutions involved in training of agricultural specialists.
On February 15, a joint event of the Russian Agriculture Ministry, the German-Russian Agrarian and Political Dialogue and the National Organic Union of Russia will be held at the BIOFACH — a panel discussion on "Organic Agriculture — New Perspectives of German-Russian Cooperation".
BIOFACH is the largest exhibition in the field of organic agriculture. Last year it was visited by more than 51 thousand agricultural specialists from different countries of the world. This year at BIOFACH Russia will be presented for the first time by the collective stand Made in Russia, organized by the National Organic Union in conjunction with the Russian Export Center.
