Rustem Khamitov headed Bashkortostan delegation at "Transport of Russia" International Forum

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov headed the official delegation of our republic at the 11th International Forum "Transport of Russia", which is held in Moscow.
The Head of the Republic will take part in a meeting on "Safe and High-Quality Roads" priority project in 2017, which will be carried out by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, and will deliver a report at a plenary discussion of the "Transport of Russia. In Harmony with Nature" forum.
The working program of the delegation includes meetings, sessions, participation in panel discussions and round tables on development of the road sector and transport infrastructure.
Today, the 11th International Exhibition "Transport of Russia" was opened within the framework of the forum. The Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov and the Special Presidential Envoy for environmental protection, ecology and transport Sergey Ivanov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
In particular, a stand of Bashkortostan is displayed at the exhibition, dedicated to the largest infrastructure investment projects in the field of transport and road construction. Moreover, every day of the exhibition the exposition of the stand will be updated. Thus, today the opportunities and advantages of the "Eastern Ufa Exit" project are presented here in detail. In the following days, the exposition will be devoted to construction of the transport corridor "Europe — Western China" in the region, development of high-speed transport and comprehensive modernization of Ufa electric transport, construction of bypass roads in Birsk, Neftekamsk, and other major projects to be implemented in the format of public-private partnership.
The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited the expositions of the transport complex organizations, familiarized himself with advanced innovative technologies of the industry.
