UFA, 1 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/.
A resident of Sterlitamak created a social video editor, making short videos from long footage. A unique project was accomplished as part of the federal accelerator of technological projects and start-ups GenerationS-2017 from the "Guide to Innovation" accelerated program. The author of the project Rustam Salavatov shared with details.
"The idea of the project appeared in 2012. I studied at Bulat Yusupov's film school; I did a lot of video shooting, directing, I shot a huge amount of video. Very often I made photos of my family; I kept a large family video archive. But I absolutely did not have time for editing it”, Rustam Salavatov says. “So a social video editor LIFE2FILM appeared — a platform for rapid creation, analysis and processing of video".
Today, a working prototype of the web service has been created. It is interesting that it has some functions of the social network (likes, comments). According to the author, his system in the future will be able to compete with popular automatic editing systems.
Recall that the "Guide to Innovation" is the largest interregional accelerator of innovation projects and technological start-ups, the operator of the GenerationS-2017 in St. Petersburg, Tomsk and Rostov-on-Don, the operator of the federal program "You are an Entrepreneur" in the territory of Bashkortostan in the "Information Technology and Production" area.
