Pavel Kachkaev: "Head of Bashkortostan Address is 100 percent focused on future"
UFA, 1 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/.
The Address of the Head of Bashkortostan to the State Assembly of the Republic differs from the last year's Address that it is 100 percent forward-looking, said Pavel Kachkaev, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Housing Policy and Utilities.
"The priority is set absolutely right on the demographic hole that awaits us in the near future. It is due to the fact that currently there are women of the reproductive age, who were born in the recession of the 90s, when the birth rate was low. By 2030, we expect a reduction in working-age people by a quarter. Hence the next very important priority emerges — education: secondary, higher and professional. There is a message that we should be engaged in the professional preparation of young people, so that they will graduate with certain knowledge of where they can bring benefits to the state", said the deputy. "As for higher education, it was said that those young talented people who currently studying at schools, should not leave the region, but stay here and continue their education in the republic".
According to the deputy, the Address of the Head RB is oriented on the future, the future of our region. Among the key priorities, Pavel Kachkaev also singled out science, which should primarily be focused on and targeted for industry, as well as he marked family and health care issues.
