Bashkortostan was one of winners of "Regions-Sustainable Development" contest

The Council of Federation held a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the competition for the annual public prize "Regions-Sustainable Development". The Chairman of the Board of Trustees was elected the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee for Science, Education and Culture, the representative of the executive body of state power of Bashkortostan Liliya Gumerova.
As a result, six projects were announced the winners of the autumn competitive selection, the total cost of implementation of which will be more than five billion rubles. At the same time, Bashkortostan is the subject with the best performance in implementation of winning projects.
"In the future, in addition to the competition, it is necessary to work at the Board of Trustees to prepare proposals and regulative acts to harmonize the approaches of the regions and contest organizers, to create a system that will combine the efforts of state institutions, credit and financial institutions, private investors and project initiators," said the Senator. She noted that in 2018 the main direction of work will be organization of interaction with ministries and departments to create a unified regulation procedure with investment projects that have the right to state support of investment activities.
