Bashkir swimmer Polina Egorova took fourth place at Russian Championship

15 athletes represent Bashkiria at the Russian Swimming Championships in Kazan. These competitions will allow swimmers to qualify for participation in the European Short Course Swimming Championships, which will be held in Copenhagen on December 13-17.
The Bashkir swimmer Polina Egorova in the 100 m distance on the back took the fourth place, having lost to athletes from St. Petersburg and the Sverdlovsk region.
"In the combined relay race of 4x50 m the team of Bashkortostan composed of Polina Egorova, Nikita Demikhov, Angelina Pryanikova and Dmitry Kustikov took the seventh place. The teams from Moscow, the Novosibirsk region, Tatarstan, Belgorod and Nizhny Novgorod regions were ahead of them", the press service of the republican Ministry of Youth Policy and Sport reports.
The Russian Championship will end on November 22. Representatives of Bashkiria will still try to compete in several disciplines.
