UFA, 20 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/.
Ufa hosted talks between the head of the State Road Facilities Committee (Gostrans) RB Timur Mukhametianov and the Turkish Ambassador to Russia Hüseyin Diriöz. In particular, a possibility to attract Turkish investments in the development of the cargo river port of Agidel, increasing the number of flights from Ufa to Turkey, and participation of Limak Group holding company in construction of the Ufa Eastern Exit were discussed, the press service of the Committee informs.
It was announced last summer that a construction company from Turkey would be the main contractor of the corridor from the M5 to M7 highways through the Ufa city, when Limak Group acquired 49% of stake in the "Bashkir Concession Company" LLC (VTB’s affiliate).
The Limak Group enterprises, in particular, built the third bridge over the Bosphorus in Turkey (opened in August 2016), and in Russia – the Platov International Airport in Rostov-on-Don (was launched on November 18, 2017).
The construction of the Eastern Exit (worth about 35 billion rubles) is planned for four years. The project includes construction of a 1.2-kilometer tunnel, a 2.5-kilometer bridge and its extension by a ten-kilometer road. Tolls will be payable on the road for the first few years.
