Wheelchair-using athletes from Bashkiria won five medals at World Championships in Rome

Seven gold, seven silver and 11 bronze medals were brought by the Russian national team from Rome, where the world fencing championship among wheelchair-using athletes completed. Representatives of Bashkiria Albert Kamalov and Nikita Nagaev scored five medals in the team count.
According to the press service of the republican Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, Albert Kamalov rose to the second step of the podium in personal and team competitions in saber and won one silver medal in foil fencing. His successful example was followed by Nikita Nagaev. He won silver and bronze medals of the World Championships in the personal tournament of the foil fencers.
