Bashkiria agrarians harvested 138 thousand tons of buckwheat

Buckwheat harvesting is coming to an end in Bashkortostan. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic, buckwheat is collected from the area of 123 thousand hectares, which is 97 percent of the plan.
With an average yield of 11.2 centners per hectare in the region, some 138 thousand tons of buckwheat have been threshed. The farms of the Arkhangelsk and Zianchurino districts are among the leaders on the yield this year, which collected more than 20 centners per each hectare.
The best indicators for the threshing of buckwheat are recorded in agricultural enterprises of the Bizhbulyak district — 11.7 thousand tons.
More than five thousand tons of buckwheat have been threshed in Bakaly, Yermekeevo, Baltachevo and Sterlitamak districts, the agrarian department informed.
