UFA, 16 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/.
The minimum set of food products has risen in price by only 1.1% in September. Its cost is 3729.1 rubles. In August, growth in relation to the beginning of the year reached 4.1%, Izvestia reported.
According to experts, the product minimum cost is affected by the growth in the production of livestock products — pork, poultry and eggs. Economists predict that seasonal deflation will end in mid-October. And then a rise in price of milk and fruit and vegetable products is possible.
The minimum set of food products includes 33 items: for example, meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, bread, vegetables, apples, cereals, tea, sweets, sugar and salt. When calculating the basket cost, Rosstat uses conditional amounts of consumption and average retail prices.
