Interethnic and interconfessional interaction of peoples will be discussed in Ufa

On Friday, September 22, Ufa will host the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Historical Experience of Interethnic and Inter-faith Cooperation of the Peoples of Russia and Bashkortostan as a Factor and Positive Vector for Further Interethnic Relations Development in the Republic". Its organizers are the "Sobor Russkih Bashkortostana" regional public organization, the Assembly of Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Bashkir Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla.

Representatives of public organizations, writers, scientists, teachers of higher educational institutions and scientific institutions of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Moscow, heads and specialists of municipalities, representatives of government bodies, employees of interested ministries and departments will take part in the conference.

The following sections are planned:

— the history of interethnic and inter- faith relations in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan: interethnic relations in the youth environment under conditions of migration, the role of peoples in the development of Bashkortostan;

— ways of harmonization of interethnic and inter-faith relations, roles and tasks of public organizations, municipal bodies, state authorities and departments, scientific institutions and educational institutions, mass media in creating a positive climate in interethnic and inter-faith relations;

— studying and teaching the state language, history and literature in Bashkortostan and in the regions of the Russian Federation.
